​On February 17, 2024, history was made! The Royal & Iconic House of LaBeija - CA Chapter hosted its inaugural "FREE YOUR MIND" event, a groundbreaking panel and mini-ball that spotlighted mental health within the LGBTQIA+ ballroom community. With engaging discussions led by a panel of six experts and a vibrant mini-ball showcasing the powerful role of ballroom as a positive outlet, the event was a resounding success.
